周孝侯射虎斩蛟 公元三世纪中叶，义兴阳羡(今宜兴市)传颂着周处除三害的故事。周处自幼父母双亡，年少时臂力过人，好驰骋田猎，不修细行，纵情肆欲，横行乡里。乡邻将他与当地南山猛虎和长桥恶蛟并称为“三害”。周处闻讯后，自知为人所厌恶，于是入山射虎，下山搏蛟，经三日三夜，在水中追逐数十里，终于斩杀孽蛟。并发愤改过自新，从此折节读书，拜文学家陆机、陆云为师，于是才兼文武。
邵尧夫祝香 宋·邵雍，字尧夫。年三十从父徒居河南，于书无所不读，精易理天文术数。居慎，凡所祝香，皆为国为亲之事，未尝私祷及己也。初除试将作监主簿不起，继除颖州团练推官不就。卒赠秘书省著作郎，元佑间谥康节。
