Liu Xia (流霞) is one of the Shen Sha (神煞) in Bazi (八字), usually associated with bloodshed disasters, indicating that the individual is prone to accidental injuries or bleeding events. For men, Liu Xia (流霞) is often related to matters of alcohol and lust, potentially leading to adverse outcomes; for women, Liu Xia (流霞) is linked to unexpected incidents during childbirth, requiring special attention during labor.

Method of Investigation​

The method to investigate Liu Xia (流霞) is to check the Heavenly Stem of the day against the four pillars' stems and branches, as follows:

Liu Xia (流霞) is also known as "Blood Sha (血煞)", representing bloodshed disasters. In ancient metaphysics, Liu Xia (流霞) is considered an inauspicious star, especially when it appears alongside other ominous Sha (凶煞) in the Bazi (八字), making the individual susceptible to health issues, accidental injuries, or other calamities. The ancients often said, "Men with Liu Xia (流霞) indulge in alcohol and lust, women encountering Liu Xia (流霞) see bloodshed," highlighting the different impacts of Liu Xia (流霞) on men and women.
