Function​

Sanqi Guiren is a special auspicious star in the Four Pillars of Destiny, representing extraordinary wisdom, unique talents, and exceptional charisma. People with Sanqi Guiren in their destiny typically possess a broad knowledge base, outstanding thinking ability, and creativity. Sanqi Guiren endows the individual with the qualities of being knowledgeable, talented, and quick-witted, giving them the potential to achieve significant accomplishments in various fields such as academics, arts, and technology. The individual can not only master professional skills but also become a leader in their field, even gaining widespread social recognition.

Jia Wu Geng (甲戊庚): These are considered extraordinary because Jia, Wu, and Geng are all Heavenly Stems that take Chou and Wei as Tianyi Guiren (天乙贵人). Therefore, when Jia, Wu, and Geng are all present, the energy of Tianyi Guiren is tripled, hence the term: Sanqi.

Yi Bing Ding (乙丙丁): These are considered extraordinary because the three stems mutually protect against clashes and punishments. For example, Yi and Xin clash, but there is a Bing and Xin combination; Bing and Geng counteract, but there is a Yi and Geng combination to reduce the clashes.

Ren Gui Xin (壬癸辛): These are considered extraordinary because, in the numbers of heaven and earth, seven is considered absolute, called: Seven Killings. In the ten numbers, from Jia, Yi, Bing, Ding, Wu, Ji, Geng, the remaining Ren, Gui, and Xin are not within the absolute numbers. Therefore, in the Eight Characters, those with Ren, Gui, and Xin experience fewer unexpected disasters in life and have an immunity effect against surprises.

As for seeking the heaven, earth, and human, or whether they are in sequence or separated, these are secondary issues.

Methods of Identification​

There are various methods to identify Sanqi Guiren, with the two most common methods being:

Method One: Three Heavenly Stems in Sequence (preferably in order or reverse order)

  • Heavenly Sanqi: Jia Wu Geng
  • Earthly Sanqi: Yi Bing Ding
  • Human Sanqi: Ren Gui Xin

Sanqi Guiren appearing in the year stem, month stem, day stem, or hour stem can be determined by the connection between the Heavenly Stems to see if Sanqi is present in the destiny. For example, if the year stem is Jia, the month stem is Wu, and the day stem is Geng, it is considered Heavenly Sanqi. Different Sanqi combinations can bring different destiny characteristics.

Sanqi Guiren originates from ancient metaphysics, representing three very special individuals with extraordinary talents. The ancients believed that people with Sanqi Guiren in their destiny usually possess wisdom and abilities different from ordinary people, being "extraordinary people" among "extraordinary people." Sanqi Guiren is not something everyone has; it represents a unique destiny combination that often endows the individual with unusual talents and career achievements.
