Tian Zhuan (天转)

Effects

Tian Zhuan, also known as Tiandi Zhuansha (天地转杀) or Tiandi Zhuansha (天地转煞), represents a phenomenon where excessive energy leads to loss of control. People who encounter Tian Zhuan in their destiny experience a rapid decline in their Five Elements energy after reaching an extreme peak, resulting in difficulties in achieving smooth progress and fluctuating fortunes. Specific manifestations include:

  • High career or official positions, but if one does not retreat in time, they are prone to significant setbacks due to unexpected incidents.
  • Although family wealth may be abundant, excessive attachment to money can attract unfavorable government or external interventions, leading to family misfortune.
  • Health issues may arise, especially in youth with weak bodies, and adults may also face many hardships.
  • When engaging in travel, business, construction, or marriage, unexpected events may occur, leading to outcomes contrary to expectations.

Method of Checking

Check the day pillar based on the month branch, with the specific corresponding relationships as follows:

  • Spring (Yin, Mao, Chen months): Seeing Yi Mao (乙卯) day as Tian Zhuan
  • Summer (Si, Wu, Wei months): Seeing Bing Wu (丙午) day as Tian Zhuan
  • Autumn (Shen, You, Xu months): Seeing Xin You (辛酉) day as Tian Zhuan
  • Winter (Hai, Zi, Chou months): Seeing Ren Zi (壬子) day as Tian Zhuan

It can also be referred to as "Tiandi Zhuansha (天地转杀)". Those who encounter this Sha in their destiny should check if their day pillar is in the above combinations.

An ancient verse states: "Spring rabbit, summer horse, Tiandi Zhuan; autumn chicken, winter rat bring disaster; travelers on the road must fear death, evil deeds unfinished lead to early demise." This vividly describes the dangers of Tian Zhuan, warning people to act cautiously when energy is at its peak and about to decline.
The ancients often used "prosperity leads to decline, adversity leads to prosperity" to explain that things inevitably change after reaching a certain point. However, Tian Zhuan is an extreme manifestation of such change, leading to loss of control and causing misfortune in official careers, wealth, or marriage.
In "San Ming Tong Hui", it is mentioned that those whose fate encounters Tiandi Zhuansha "do not know when to advance or retreat, bringing disaster upon themselves, and do not end well." Although this is an exaggeration, it reflects the warning effect of Tian Zhuan Sha on the fate owner, suggesting that one should do more good deeds and maintain reverence to seek peace and success.
