Tianchu Guiren (天厨贵人)​

Function​

Tianchu Guiren, also known as "Shishen Lu (食神禄)," signifies abundant blessings and endless culinary enjoyment. Those with Tianchu Guiren in their destiny never worry about food and clothing, enjoy ample sustenance, and have a smooth and prosperous life. This star represents the palace of Shishen Jianlu, capable of dispelling dangers, bringing prosperity to both career and family. For women, Tianchu Guiren is particularly beneficial, not only providing culinary enjoyment but often endowing them with excellent cooking skills that can support their husbands and families. However, if faced with punishment, conflict, overcoming, or void, the positive effects of Tianchu may be diminished.

Method of Checking​

Check the remaining four branches based on the year stem and day stem, corresponding as follows:

  • Bing (丙) stem sees Si (巳)
  • Ding (丁) stem sees Wu (午)
  • Wu (戊) stem sees Shen (申)
  • Ji (己) stem sees You (酉)
  • Geng (庚) stem sees Hai (亥)
  • Xin (辛) stem sees Zi (子)
  • Ren (壬) stem sees Yin (寅)
  • Gui (癸) stem sees Mao (卯)

The "Xiang Xin Fu" states: "Jia and Bing love to travel with double consorts, Yi and Ding with lions and Taurus, Wu sits with Yin and Yang, Geng with double fish, two stems with stone Lu in the imperial city, Gui uses heavenly drink, Ren with horses, Xin reaches the treasure vase with free Lu, this is Tianchu bestowing heavenly Lu, bringing double blessings of fortune and prosperity."
The ancient text "Shi's Star Classics" (later lost) once recorded: "Tianchu, suitable for food and nourishment," implying that Tianchu Guiren represents the power of Shishen, ensuring a life free from worry about food and clothing, full of blessings and prosperity. Tianchu Guiren is not only a symbol of sustenance but also represents the ability to enjoy heavenly blessings and overcome dangers. Traditional destiny theory holds that if the Eight Characters (Ba Zi) are free from punishment, conflict, overcoming, or void interference, Tianchu Guiren can bring excellent fortune to the life owner, especially beneficial for women, enhancing the prosperity of their husbands.
